  1. How do I apply for a county job?  Or How do I apply for an Erie County open position?

    Potential applicants are able to access an official Erie County application form on the Human Resources home page. Completed applications may be emailed to humanresources@eriecounty.oh.gov, faxed to 419-627-7599, or hand delivered or mailed to 2900 Columbus Ave. Suite 210, Sandusky, Oh. 44870. On-line submissions may be possible in the future.

  2. How do I check on the status of my application?

    The Human Resources Department may be able to provide an update for positions applied to under the Board of Commissioners, depending on the department hiring and their particular practices. HR may assist other County elected officials in posting of their positions, but may not necessarily assist in the interview or selection process. Applicants may call the appropriate office under the elected official for a status update.

  3. Can I apply after the postings deadline?

    Completed applications must be returned to the Human Resources Department or Your Job Store NO later than 4:30p on the closing date of the posting. Late applications may or may not be considered and/or placed in the applicant pool for consideration.
