A Regional Domestic Violence Conference

“The Erie County Victim Assistance Program/Prosecutor’s Office and the Erie County Domestic Violence Task Force have joined together to host a Domestic Violence Conference entitled:  “A Regional Domestic Violence Conference: A Multidisciplinary Approach” to be held October 27-28, 2016, at Bowling Green State University- Firelands Campus in Huron, Ohio.

The goal of the conference is to provide area service providers the opportunity to obtain high quality domestic violence and sexual assault training locally while assisting in the conservation of limited budgets.  Those who attend will have the opportunity to learn with others of various disciplines, to network, to understand the roles of different providers in the response to domestic violence and to gain new knowledge to assist those involved in abusive intimate relationships. 

This conference will target law enforcement personnel, court personnel, children’s services, mental health providers, nurses, attorneys, clergy, victim service providers and any other person who is concerned about domestic violence and how it affects our communities.
