Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan User Survey

Posted on August 29, 2013

The Erie County Regional Planning Commission’s Metropolitan Planning Organization staff is currently updating the Erie County Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. The plan was last updated in 1999. The 1999 plan is available for review on ERPC’s website at: http://www.eriecounty.oh.gov/departments-and-agencies/economic-development/erie-regional-planning-commission/downloadable-documents/

Planning staff is looking forward to presenting the final plan update next year. A steering committee has been assembled and is currently assisting the staff in the update process. A user survey has been created and is currently available on Survey Monkey.Com until September 23rd.  The purpose of the survey is to gather information from the local bicycle and pedestrian community. There are two short surveys one for bicyclist and one for walkers. Everyone is invited to fill the surveys out. We would love to hear your opinion on where you think planning efforts should be focused on during the update process. Hard copies of the survey can be acquired by calling Nicole Grohe, Associate Planner at 419-627-7793 or Nicole Grohe.
