Luvada Wilson Appointed Clerk Of Courts

County Commissioners appointed Luvada Wilson Erie County Clerk of Courts at their October 27 meeting following Barbara Johnson’s retirement announcement. She was to assume her duties on Tuesday, November 1.  However, because of Mrs. Johnson’s passing, she was sworn in on Monday, October 31.

Ms. Wilson has extensive experience with Erie County’s court system.  She served as bailiff for Erie County Common Pleas Judge Tygh Tone for five years prior to her appointment.  Prior to that she served as an administrative assistant for Judge Ann B. Maschari.  She has also worked in the Probation Department as Director and Supervisor.

She is a graduate of Sandusky High School, Spellman College and the University of Toledo College of Law.
