New Sewer Rates Bring Financial Stability

Posted on July 18, 2011

Erie County commissioners recently approved a sewer agreement with the City of Huron that provides long-term financial stability for a new, combined sewer district.   Residents will see a modest increase in their rates.  Future increases will be tied to the national rate of inflation.  The combined district will be overseen by a Sewer Monitoring Board.  For more information, please contact our Sanitary Engineer, Jack Meyers.
