U.S. 250 Sewer Extension/UPDATE

Posted on August 9, 2011

The county's sewer extension project along U.S. 250 and Huron-Avery Road is moving towards completion. All sewer lines, pump stations and force mains have been installed and are in service. Grading, seeding, drive repairs, drainage and related finishing tasks are being completed.

Developed property owners south of Scheid Road have received certified letters notifying them that they have until November 1 to connect to the new sewer.

The project was funded with a U.S. Economic Development Assistance grant ($2.38 million) and an Ohio Job Ready Site grant ($2.75 million).
