Water Agreement With Sandusky Keeps CP Safer

Posted on July 18, 2011

Erie County commissioners recently approved an agreement with the City of Sandusky that will ensure Cedar Point has enough water to service its guests on maximum capacity days.  Prior to the agreement, concerns had been expressed that guests might experience the inconvenience of low-pressure showers or, worse, that safety personnel might not have enough water to fight a large fire at the amusement park.

Commissioners commented that the agreement also signals a more regional and cooperative approach to the county’s water needs that will improve service and stabilize rates for all residents.  To view the full agreement click here.
