Sheriff's Office

Congratulations to Erie County Sheriff's Office Dispatcher Kevin Bower, who also serves as an auxiliary police officer with the Perkins Township Police Department. While serving in that capacity, Kevin recently saved the life of an individual who was choking on food at a Perkins Township restaurant. Pictured is Kevin with Chief Ken Klamar of the Perkins Township Police Department at the recent Perkins Township Trustees meeting when Kevin was honored by the Township. Again, congratulations to Kevin for a job well done!

Congratulations to Erie County Sheriff's Office Detective Sergeant Nick Kotsopoulos, who recently graduated from PELC (Police Executive Leadership College). PELC is an intensive and comprehensive three week course of instruction covering key law enforcement leadership topics and the practical application of those concepts to the graduate's daily responsibilities. Pictured during the graduation ceremony are, from left to right: Harry Trombitas, PELC Director, Det. Sgt. Kotsopoulos and Retired Chief of Police Dwight Holcomb.
