Erie County Well-being Program


The Erie County Well-Being Program sets a gold standard for employers. The County understands that employees spend a good portion of their day at work and see the importance of providing employees with well-being programs, services, and health information.

Employees on our health insurance plan are eligible to receive an Individual Health Assessment (IHA) each year. The County partners with the Erie County Health Department to provide this service at no cost to our employees and their spouses.

There are many incentives to encourage participation in the County’s wellness program including a generous deductible reduction and gift card program. Employees have access to an on-site free Fitness Studio equipped with the latest fitness equipment, reduced cost on-site fitness classes, as well as gym memberships that are eligible to receive a fitness reimbursement.

Important and trending health topics are provided in a convenient Lunch and Learn format for employees throughout the year.  In addition, we offer a Weight Watchers discount program to County Employees & their spouses who are on the County’s Health Insurance Plan.
