Erie County Announces Resurfacing Project In Perkins Township

Perkins Township – The Erie County Engineer’s Office, in conjunction with federal transportation funding provided by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), announces the resurfacing of Strub Rd. between Columbus Ave. and U.S. 250 in Perkins Township.  As part of the project, sidewalk will also be constructed on the north side of Strub Rd.

The construction work will not require the closing of the road, and through traffic will be maintained during construction operations.  It is expected that the work will take about 60 days, and construction is anticipated for the spring/summer of 2021.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Ohio Department of Transportation pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
