About Magistrate Patrick J. Quinn

Personal Background:

Patrick J. Quinn is native of Berea, Ohio who has resided in the community since 1994. He was appointed as Judge Tygh M. Tone’s Magistrate in January, 2005.

Patrick graduated from Cleveland State University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his law degree from Cleveland State University in 1982.

Professional Background:

Patrick was employed at the Erie County Legal Aid & Defenders Association from August 1984-April of 1990. He worked in private practice from 1990-2004 for the law firms of Wagner & Wagner and Muehlhauser & Moore.

During his career he practiced in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, bankruptcy, domestic relations and juvenile law. It was also during this period that he served as an acting Judge in the Sandusky Municipal Court.

Patrick is currently a member of the Erie County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Ohio Association of Magistrate’s.
