In August 2022, the Erie County Commissioners entered into a contract with IGS Energy to provide our local residents an opportunity to save money on their gas bills.   Dec 2022 - Mar 2023 = NYMEX monthly settlement + $1.50 per MCF (guaranteed $0.15 per MCF savings vs. monthly Columbia Gas SCO price) Apr 2023 - Nov 2024 = Fixed Rate @ $8.29 per MCF. Opt Out letters will be mailed to those currently directly with the utility.  You will continue to receive one monthly bill from your local utility.  Residents who wish to opt-out of this program, or have any specific questions about the program, can call Valerie at Palmer Energy at 419-491-1040.
