The Blue Ribbon Commission has completed its final analysis of the Erie County taxing authorities' spending efficiencies. Over the past six months, the commission’s goal has been to identify areas where local governments in Erie County can work together more effectively, reduce duplication of services, and enhance operational efficiency. By collaborating, the Commission believes we can lower the costs of public services, share resources where possible, and reduce the overall tax burden on local residents.
