The Erie County Commissioners selected Dynegy as the continued supplier of the community electric aggregation program. Letters were mailed out on October 21, 2025 to those currently in the County’s Electric Aggregation Program, and those directly with the utility, advising that eligible residents who are a part of the program will see a change in their price. You will continue to receive one monthly bill from your local utility, Ohio Edison. Starting January 2026, you will notice that Dynegy will show as a line item for the supply portion on your bill. The Commissioners were able to lock in a fixed rate of 8.88 cents per kWh through December 2026. Residents who wish to opt-out of this program need to call Dynegy at 1-833-241-4599 to opt out over the phone.
