Electric Aggregation Program

Home  \  Electric Aggregation...
In September 2021, the Erie County Commissioners entered into a contract with Dynegy Energy to provide our local residents an opportunity to save money on their electric bills.  Letters have been mailed to those currently in the County’s Electric Aggregation Program, and those directly with the utility, advising that eligible residents who are a part of the program will see a change in their supplier.  You will continue to receive one monthly bill from your local utility, Ohio Edison.  You'll notice that Dynegy will now show as a line item for the supply portion on your bill. The Commissioners were able to lock in a fixed rate of 4.55 cents per kWh until December 2023.  Residents  who wish to opt-out of this program, or have any specific questions about the program, can call Valerie at Palmer Energy at 419-491-1040.
