ERIE COUNTY SEEKS COMMENT ON PAVEMENT MARKING PROJECT

The Erie County Engineer’s Office, in conjunction with federal transportation funding provided by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), is proposing pavement marking work throughout Erie County.

All pavement marking work will take place with existing rights-of-way. Work will consist of retracing existing pavement markings on various county roads throughout the unincorporated areas of Erie County.

Traffic is expected to be maintained during construction. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025.  Written comments concerning the proposed project may be mailed to Matt Rogers, P.E., Project Engineer, Erie County Engineer’s Office, 2700 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental law for these projects are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2020, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
