Do you take stray cats?
No, our office does not accepts stray cats nor do we pick them up if they are running loose. If you do find one that is sick or injured and in need of immediate care, please contact your local law enforcement. If you own a cat and need to rehome it please contact the Humane Society of Erie County at (419)626-6220 to be placed on their waiting list.
What should I do if my dog is missing?
If your dog is missing you need to contact our office with a description of your dog as well as your local law enforcement. After hours, we only respond to police calls so you will need to contact our office during normal business hours.
What should I do if I find a dog after your business hours?
If you find a dog please contact your local law enforcement.
When does my dog have to have a license?
The State of Ohio, all dogs over three months of age are required to have a dog license.
