State Route 60 Flood Study

Erie County is evaluating existing conditions regarding flooding that has occurred in the State Route 60 study area from Darrow Road to Mason Road including Trinter Ditch and Edson Creek in Vermilion Township. 

Questions and comments are requested by January 5, 2024 to be included in the documented comments submitted during the 30-day period.  The project team will respond to all comments received at any time. Comments can be submitted on the project website, and by mail, email, or phone.

Flood Study Open House

An open house public involvement meeting regarding the preliminary findings of the study was held on December 5th, 2023, at the Vermilion Township Fire Department.
